Blackboard is the college’s course management software. This program is located on the college’s server. It is used to create a virtual classroom for us to use. It contains many features including a course e-mail program, online quizzes, and threaded discussion groups. When you “attend class” online, you will do so by logging into Blackboard.
If you have never used Blackboard before, I highly recommend that you attend one of the orientation sessions offered by the Department of Distance Learning. They will teach you how to use Blackboard. For a schedule of orientation sessions, please click here.
