Mission and Goals of the Child Development/Early Childhood Program

To prepare students to become early childhood education professionals to work with young children, families, and professionals in a variety of early childhood settings by providing the knowledge base and skills that reflect the highest standards of quality in the field, and that form a  foundation of  lifelong learning.

Together with Del Mar students and the Center for Early Learning, Early Childhood Club members collected more than 120 teddy bears for the Red Cross to give to local Coastal Bend area children who have been victims of natural disasters.
